Wegener Royal this evening. A Wegener, a great shade of blue, a backbow: this one just had my name on it [emoji4]. Thanks to Manfred for finding it and selling it my way.

Wow, some fantastic hats this cold Monday.

In a really grey and dark day, in a short stop of rain I have the chance to wear this Cavanagh
View attachment 195079
I can show off this American hat because of the kindness of Stefan (Steur) who offered me this beauty in one of our periodic exchanges
View attachment 195080
It is a size 7 1/2, cost $ 20.00 and the color of the felt is "Midnite". There are others numbers on the paper label to date the hat for conoisseurs, not me. I think it came from the sixties
View attachment 195081
The hat is a homburg with narrow trim on the brim and a low crown. The ribbon is frayed and dark red-blue in fantastic color
View attachment 195082
I really like the subtle contrasting colors of the ribbon and the bow
View attachment 195083
I am very happy to wear it because it is one of the rare vintage American hats I have in my collection
Grazie Stefan!

Thanks for the likes on the Borsalino "Ghiaccio" and your kind words
Buon Lunedì!

Well Randy, I told you I was gonna copy you today, and after waking up to 24F it sounded like an even better idea.....

Excellent!

The Dobbs Gay Prince. I got to spend a little bit of time wearing this beauty today after replacing its frayed brim stitching and cleaning ‘er up a bit. I’m looking forward to getting to wear this hat some more

The sun shines after an evening and night of continuous rain, incessant and copious.
My daughter, Ginevra, from yesterday evening keeps me informed about the atmospheric disaster in Venezia, she lives and studies at Ca' Pesaro. I posted a lot of videos of the event on "Fedora afield"

Here in Verona the morning is clear and suitable for another homburg result of exchanges with Stefan
Woodrow 5.jpg

Woodrow Piccadilly London, size 7 1/4 UK which is a 59 cm.
Woodrow 7.jpg

Felt is of medium consistency with high quality finishes
Woodrow 1.jpg
The proportions of the hat are wide and the homburg is very elegant
The ribbon is black, while the one adorning the brim is the same color as the felt

Have a nice day and thanks a lot on the yesterday Cavanagh likes

Another cold morning in the 20's, so staying with the Irish sweater and flat cap. This is a really nice hand knit one from Aran Sweater Market that my Wife got me for Christmas last year. Also my first Shawl Neck.

The hat is a John Hanly made for Biddy Murphy and was actually hand picked for me by the excellent people at Biddy to match a patchwork scarf. I did a write up about the great customer service in the cap faction.
