Very nice Stetsonian, Brent, one of several this week. One of those I hats I think I have but really don't...I guess that's whats called "wishful thinking"!

Thank you, sir. I was apprehensive for a long time but the derby is an easy-wear hat and as long as I have on something other than jeans and a tee shirt, I'm comfortable with it. I got several approving looks and "nice hats" the other day. People don't see them often and I think they notice them more than other hats. I guess, too, because the crown height is most of what distinguishes a derby, that is probably my biggest criteria. One too tall would look like a top hat (at least, on m3) and one too short would not suit me at all!

Good looking VS! I wish. Looked good in a derby. You look natural in yours, but I was never able to pull it off.

Great photos, Joe! I’m loving that Lee lid, lad!!
Would you be so kind as to post some interior shots, especially the label(s)?

Thanks!!

Thanks!

Sure thing... here are a few I had. I should take some new ones and do up a full post on it.

It’s about 2 3/4 brim with rakish crown about 4 1/2 front. 3 3/4 back. Size 7. Not lined.

Randy, you've done with that Bowler what everyone should do with any hat: own it. I know you were apprehensive about wearing one, but now you've proved that you need another or two [emoji4]. Cudos!

Hi fellow Loungers. Some great hats have been posted these last weeks. Thanks as always for sharing, inspiring, and making me envious [emoji4].
Tapatalk is finally allowing me back in to post photos again without asking for a fee, so here's my humble offering of my hat of today.
A Borsalino Qualità Superiore Lobbia. The label mis-names the colour as morello. It's obviously mirtillo, but, as often is the case, it's hard to catch the true deep blueberry colour of such a shade.
Have a great weekend, friends.

Hey all!
Been a few since I posted. Thought I'd share this Motsch Fils that showed up Tuesday in the middle of an extended power shutoff. A much needed morale boost. More in the French hats thread.
