Hey, Steve, can’t believe I’ve never heard it, but I finally got some time to listen to the tribute to Merle Haggard by Willie Nelson. Superlative lyrics and tune. Thanks for telling me about it. There’ll never be another Merle, and that’s okay. He was enough Merle for the ages. His youngest son did a super guitar break in the official video. played the licks in his Father’s style.
Listened to the next song cued up from Youtube by Willie and it was just as good called : A horse called Music. Both moving songs about bygone greats. A man we know who was good at shaping hats in the shower: Roy Rogers
Songs with meaning and depth. Something you’re not going to get in most of today’s music.

You're welcome Randall. Willie's Last Man Standing album from 2018 is really outstanding. Some very moving and fun songs about old age, loss of loved ones and not giving up.

Wearing the new Stetson 7X Clear Beaver today while tooling around in the garage. Trying to break it in to my head, previous owner must have had a square head, LOL. I warmed up the sweat with the hairdryer and wearing around today. I also put a new bash in it. Decided to go with a more refined one for this hat

Great hats and overcoats, Panos. I think you, Stefan and I are going to have to start a European Overcoat Club [emoji4].
I'm definitely going to have to treat myself to a Hornskov. A super stylish looking lid.

'Twas a chilly yet sunny day so I dawned the silverbelly O'Farrell Quigley to block the rays and headed to the Dia De Los Muertos parade.

Great Lees, Stefan. The Gorasgu is an absolute beauty. Far too good for the post office [emoji4]

Both are nice but the borsa takes the lead Stefan, great catch, congrats!

Let me guess the trip to the post office involves a parcel with hats in, right? ;)

Thanks, gentlemen! The trip did indeed involve a hat package, so official business!:)

Not that you would know anything about that, right?;)

Out and about to face the world with this Moss Green Gannon.

I won't mention the colour, but that's a fine hat, Jim. Having mucked about with ribbon a bit myself, I'm baffled how these elaborate bow keepers are done!

Great hats once again Stefan, but that coat.... wow. love it.
Thanks, Ken. A vintage one, no brand I can find on it.

Great color on that Lee's and such an elaborate liner, very nice.
Thanks, Randy. They did these liners on their earlier hats.

A Penney's Marathon this morning.

Very nice, Michael. Classic looking hat.

Love that Borsalino !! I’m still on the hunt for one.
Thanks, Hagwood. Patience is the keyword here. Took me a few years to find one!
