Thanks Ken. The jacket is a LL Bean take on the A2 in goatskin and the pants are button fly army pants cut on from the 1945 pattern for a 1950 contract. I thought I would take advantage of the cool morning to trial what will probably be a common pairing this autumn. If it ever cools off.

That is the softest looking hat I think I have ever seen. I tried googling oberländer and can't find any info on that hat company. Where did you find that beauty and who makes it?
