Good morning. A vintage Stetson Vita-Felt Playboy was my hat choice this morning. This un-reeded fedora's felt is very soft and malleable.

The gray felt is everything that vintage felt is desired to be. The ribbon, sweat and liner show patina that comes with wear. This clean, vintage hat is a joy to wear.

Best, Eric -

So nice, Eric! Those unreeded sweatbands are like warm socks. They’re great! That one is a prime cut.

Thriving on Thursday here, gang, with a favorite Milan; circa 1950 Cavanagh, in a style favored by the late great Benny Goodman...

Supplier to the US Air Force, these are possibly the best value and best made shades available anywhere. And they're made in my town!

Another Milan in your collection that shines!

I like the style of that Cavanagh Milan. I have a similar looking Dobbs Panama in dark blue.
You can tell that Randoph supplies the USAF just by looking at the model names.
I like the "Yeager" shades best; Chuck Yeager (from the German "Jäger" = hunter) was a bad-ass fighter- and test-pilot.

Wonderful hat! And until you mentioned Benny, I had never noticed the resemblance. Something about your smiles...

Ha yea I forgot about the Nasty Boys. You have seen it before haven't you. I don't think Bauer has gotten into a fist fight with his manager yet as Dibs did. LOL
Yeah, and Dibs also lost it one day and heaved one from the mound into the outfield stands and hit some lady. She sued.

Taking on Piniella was bold. And stupid.

Incredible!! Too funny, that Benny would be wearing MY shirt...

I must admit, Alan, it took me a second look to sort it all out. You are amazing!!

The Byer Rolnick is a beauty; gives me memories of my dad. It could be even a bit more recent.
Pop, June 1971... SEE!!
