Thanks, Stefan. As always, I'm grateful that you know my penchant for Battersby hats, wide ribbons and back bows. You're one of my hat enablers [emoji4]

We all need an enabler or two (or as many as we can get). It's part of this community to share what we find.

As always, super hats, Stefan. Love your ties and scarfs, too. I'm a tie man myself with a desire to increase my scarf collection. Think I need a trip to the Netherlands to increase all three desires and collections.

Great minds...and all that.

I'm wearing my Churchill Dalworth "40" in the style of the Hemphill Open Road. The color is Palomino which takes on an almost Sage-like color in natural light, & a natural light gray (not Silverbelly) in incandescent lighting.

Jack, I sure do like this one, especially how it changes color. It's like having two different hats.

How do you rate the quality of the Bogie?

I think for a modern day mass production hat the Bogie is a good product. It is made from beaver felt and is in the Excellent quality line which is considered Stetson’s best effort. The felt is sturdy and takes a little time to break in, but it wears well and feels good to the touch. I have not been disappointed with any of my excellent quality Stetsons. So, if you want a brand spanking new out of the box, teardrop blocked, beaver hat, then I think you would enjoy the Bogie.

One of my faves today. Dobbs Fifty. It was owned originally by Al Werner, a member of the 1951 NY Yankees broadcasting team.

Max; Seriousely great hat! To have the hat with a historical providence is superb.

Incredible hat, Eric. Having the tags still attached is a great bonus.

Thanks sir. I am honored to have it on my hat rack and to be able to gently wear it.

Splendid as always, Eric. Love that ribbed ribbon.

Thanks sir. Your many hat days make my day.

The ribbon work on that really makes it a standout.

Thanks Bill. Having a party on the head with the ribbon and brim treatment is a joy.

Sage is an underappreciated felt hue, IMO! It pairs with almost all beers.
;)

Best, Eric -

Thanks Dennis. I have a Resistol Fort Worth, Byer-Rolnick BR Beaver "30" in Palomino that changes colors in the same way.

Eric, I certainly like your Sage hat you wore recently. I've admired it for a while now.
