So, just like that.....he's back. Life took a beating and knocked me down a bit. Dad passed a few months back, a week later I find I have cancer, a couple weeks later my dog of 16 yrs had to be put to sleep. Sheesh! Gotta be a country western song in there somewhere. Gotta say depression took its toll for a bit. Today is the best I've felt in a long time, dug out my old Dobbs straw and was out and about. Next week I'm off to Germany for cancer treatments. I don't like the options my local Texas Urologist is giving me to fight prostate cancer, all of which leave me with diapers and / or a limp wee willie winkie. Germany has some great Natural cancer clinics and I'm packed and ready to head to Munich for a weeklong treatment to knock this tumor on its ass. So, like my t-shirt says....Cheers!

I do believe I have a great Mayser Straw that might travel well with me to Deutschland. We plan on leaving a week early. We are flying into Paris (a little R&R before my treatment), we got an Air b&b for a whole week right in Paris, then hitch a ride on the ICE train and onto another Air b&b in the Munich area for my treatment near the cancer klinic. Lots of great flea markets in both Paris and Munich, who knows what hats may find me.

You have got to be kidding. Your only thin ribbon? I'm with you. I prefer wide ribbons, but that's hard to believe. Good looking hat though thin ribbon and all.

Thanks Steve. I do need to get this one out on the town more often. That old gold, or whatever it is, ribbon does work well with that felt color.

I have a couple that have 1” ribbons. But this is the only truly thin ribbon I own.
