Thanks, Dennis. I received it as a basket case without liner or ribbon and with a completely detached sweat. I sent it off to VS and only told Art that I wanted a mid-width ribbon. He chose everything, including the crease. My favorite hats are the ones I was the least involved with.

A Borsalino branded with the marks of the wayward cousin Lazzaro but made by the Antica Casa after the merger of the two companies - late 1950s to early 1960s perhaps. A hat that came to me from Daniele.

It would be nice if we could see through the transclucent vinyl for a good view of the beautiful old Fu Lazzaro marking.

Love the hat. Fantastic color. Your presentation is perfect!

Just received this one yesterday. Royal Stetson in gunmetal grey. Some of you may recognize from listing last week. My first "vintage" hat. It's about as old as I am! Anyway, I couldn't resist wearing it today, and wanted to show it off here. Thanks to Jonathan for a really nice hat.

Wearing my most recent conversion project. Looks like this one started out as a New York State Trooper's hat. I sized this one up and made a thin ribbon fedora out of it. It's going to be my outside activities hat. Vent holes on each side of the crown and slots on the brim for a head strap. I'll have more later in the Conversion Corral...
