A Mayser homburg for a day with a foggy sun

This was one of the various exchange with Stefan in Netherlands

Thick felt and very well matched the steel grey with ribbon and curled brim in a more clear grey, almost silver

I like the more "square" shape then some more "rounded" homburg

This is my contribution to the "homburg nation" not so much haunted in these days

Looks great! My only recommendation would be to wear it tilted to one side instead of straight across your head. The wide brim is a good look for you, so keep 'em coming.

Edit: Would love to see some interior pics of the hat btw.

Very nice. Who knows where it will end after you've been here for a few more years?

If the collection grows to some of the levels on here it'll be the doghouse!

And??? Come on...give us the skinny!

Several looks and double takes, but no comments while out and about. My personal stylist probably wanted me to pair it with my Aero leather jacket but circumstances didn't let allow today. Have to save that for another day.

Thanks for the styling suggestion! Will definitely be a work in progress. Some more details regarding dimensions and interior pics can be found in my post in The Champ thread.

No they were located in Weilheim. The ex workers from JHS factories in Czechoslovakia and Silesia started shortly after WWII. Weilheim went out of business in 1975.

06/30/1946: Hutfabrik Hückel GmbH in der Kaltenmoserstr. 26, 82362 Weilheim was established.

07/01/1959: Name changed to Hückel Hutfabrik KG and moved to Kaltenmoserstraße 30, 82362 Weilheim.

05/04/1971: Name changed to Hückel Hutfabrik OHG.

11/30/1975: Closed business

Thanks. I was probably thinking of Habig in Wien.

Nice, how does it look inside?

Here's a couple collage pics:

Dimensional specs can also be found in my post in The Champ thread. The felt is on the thinner side and very receptive to forming, which I've only tried dry so far. I started with a diamond but switched to a teardrop with a light pinch. Probably will stay away from sharper creases on this one.

Just make sure the doghouse is big enough for your hats too.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
