Thanks for the reply. But -14 and just a heavy wool shirt an vest? I'm guessing there's a thermal undershirt too, but doesn't look warn enough for me.

It was warm enough for the 10 minutes I was outside. Not for any longer than that. I always have on a wool base layer in the winter.

Color is "Magma" the ribbon is "Talpa" size 6 or 7 3/8 US

The felt has a weird color: it is frey with brown shades

The heather felt is very soft and malleable

Is there some simple way to identify a Borsalino from short before and then after they left Alessandria?
Maybe some major differences in look or wording of liner, sweatband or paper-label?
Is it true they still have "Alessandria" printed on newer hats?

I got the driveway shoveled and started my car for the first time in a few weeks. The car wasn't happy. Then I gave the Pheasant a bit of a steam. Now I'm ready to venture off the place for a little trip downtown.
