Cooler today, I almost put on a jacket.
The cold some of you are experiencing is no joke. Stay warm and stay safe.

Where's the fun in that, Red? I went walkabout instead. Very nice, except I overheated a bit. Today the temperature is lower. I think it was -24 when I got up. I'm very disappointed with the wind chill though, it was a paltry -38. i think I'll walk over and catch the next bus anyway.

Have a good one,

Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'm headed to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo tomorrow. Do I wear the 50's OR or the modern 6X OR?

Thanks Bob. I thought the mittens might be the weak link the day before, but they worked well. They are wool lined with Thinsulate and built as a half finger glove with a fold back mitten component. Handy for when I want to pull things out of my pocket or wallet without totally de-gloving.Looks like you are well "suited" for the weather Michael, but did those wool mittens keep you warm enough or did you have a glove liner underneath them?
