I think it's been said that courage is acting despite fear. If that's the case, I was brave twice today.

We've had our first taste of winter weather today, getting a couple of inches of "wintery mix." I wore my rabbit fur Sterkowski to work today, and it suffered no ill affects from doing so. Then I came home, and as I like being a good neighbor, saw the sidewalk in front of my house needed shoveling. I changed from my Sterkowski to my Akbura Campdraft, and went to work. Sidewalk, driveway, and even cleared the runnels leading to the gutter.

I think my Campdraft has survived, and it was raining pretty steadily. Whew!

A CD can take more than that! Say what you want, but they're tanks.

Bowen; I like your showcase of hats paired with jackets of late. As to the cool porch/deck, it is one of fav places to enjoy some quiet time. Enjoy.

Steur; Excellent hats. I have been way to stingy with commenting on the immense variety and quality hats on your hat rack. I offer a big round of applause. Cheers sir.

The world needs to see more quality stingy brimmed hats. Well showcased sir.

Steinbockhase; I do like your hat. The veneral Stratoliner is a fav of mine.

Sir your posts are enjoyable to view and read. You do not disappoint.

Dr.Max; Thanks for the many views of your Dobbs fedora. Thanks for enthusiastic sharing of your hat collection. I have been appreciating them the past many months.

Richard; A Whippet and leather jacket pairing is perfect.

Rock; I enjoy your photo compositions including this one.

Perry, the other Dr.; Patterned shirts and thin ribbons of late are dynamite. You have style.

JHoops; Glad the weather has turned for you. Like the hat.

Best, Eric -

Thank you Eric. Those are kind words as always. I too always admire your pairings and comments. I never thought i’d be the guy on the front porch but it is a place of peace.
Be well. Bowen

I have to say, when I read in another post that you were staying in a miner’s house, THAT house is not what I had pictured. Looks like fun, have a great trip!

Outstanding Borsalino Jim. That liner logo looks OLD! Do you have an ideas as to it's age?

Another Borsalino from Danielle on this chilly 41 degree morning.
