I'd never heard of Storm Large nor Pink Martini before. Thanks for the heads up Michael. It's my kind of music.

You've really been putting up some great lids the past several days, Michael, and this gorgeous felt is no exception. Wonderful OR!

Grey Bailey litefelt Curtis. I hated the matching color band that came with it. JJ hat replaced it with this one. [emoji106][emoji3590]

Also just got my old (2002) Stetson Chatham Sovereign back from deep cleaning & re-flanging. It had bad finger oil stains on the brim that I couldn't get off. The brim had gone completely floppy.

After having lost 81 lbs, this size 7 1/2 is now too big on me. I'm going to add some foam inserts to get it down to somewhere between 7 1/4 - 7 3/8.

Worn briefly today to summon cooler temps...picked this one up in a second hand shop while visiting southern Germany. Only hut in the shop and it fit perfectly . About 30 Euros. ;) Ach du lieber.

I like you, and I like your garden, but I don' like the hat. [emoji1]

Busy early Fall days at our house.

Yesterday evening I was out in a vintage Adams Lightweight.

A vtg. Royal Deluxe Stetson longhair fedora was just the perfect hat to greet the cool 54'f morning temps.

An early morning grocery errand had me sport'n a cap.

Yesterday found me work'n the grill with a wool cap. Yes the pic does acknowledge that I need to use reading glasses to read the meat thermometer and the meat rub recipe. Darn aging eyes.

Mid morning out to visit a friend at the local coffee shop and a vintage Stetson Whippet was my hat for the trip.

This early afternoon finds me running a couple shopping errands. A Gannon (bone hued felt) fedora is just the ticket.

Saturday morning breakfast with Ana in Querétaro. It is amazing how much this city has grown! Beautiful, too. It is near San Miguel de Allende, which has a large USA community.
Wearing my only Gannon.

Ola, Dr. Max,

Very nice Gannon. It must be cooling off there.

San Miguel is my favorite city in Mexico. I have some old friends there. I haven’t seen them in years, though. They owned a couple of restaurants. One was at the Jardin and the other was at the Instituto de Arte. Wonderful, beautiful place.

Tom
