Today belongs to the "Little Dude" This was a Churchill Red River that I snagged for dirt cheap off the bay. See original photo below complete with (don't laugh) fake Crocodile teeth hatband. I cleaned it up, tossed that nasty hatband, steamed it to open crown. Didn't know what to do with it till the other day when I got the Lone Star Dude hat. Took it with me to Texas Hatters and had David match it up to the Dude. David was impressed with the actual quality of the rabbit felt, very beefy / heavy. The brims are the same size but the crown on the Churchill is 1/4" lower than the Lone Star Dude, hence...."Little Dude"

What these very modern light weight felt Borsalinos lack in terms of the Borsalino quality of yore, they make up in terms of funky fun to wear. Had me some fun wearing it today.
