Early morning dog soiree in a vintage Adam fedora. The hat adds color to the gray, rain sprinkled neighborhood. The "Executive Quality" hat's rust hued felt has a nap and a binding that has been attached so as wider on the top than the bottom. The workmanship is clean and neat. The binding is a sage green hue. The crown is high and the edge is big. These are not "normal" features.

Thanks,B. You have one andd know how nice they are.

BEYOND beautiful, Greg.

Thank you, Charlie. That RD with the binding is something and the flamingo shirt is just great pairing.

That Churchill 50 is second to none, BB. Great lines & such a beautiful hat. I have it's little sibling in a 40.

Much appreciated, HJ. Would love to find a 40 myself.

A fine hat Eric. I really appreciate a hat that is different and you never fail to please.
This one gets points all around for different. Color, contrast, proportion, all aces. The rust hue presents as somewhat strawberry. I like it and i concur what Bill said!

That looks like one to hold over your heart for the anthem, Bob. Or any other opportunity to squeeze it a little.

Thanks H/R. It's a beater, but worked well for the task at hand. Getting that saw into the truck in this weather put the sweat band to task.

Love the tall crown. Very nice Bob. I really like that style of ribbon too.

The camera adds some crown height I'm afraid. So, you like ribbons that are on the verge of losing one of the tips? Holding on by a thread...

You have again inspired me Jim... Late, but present in a Royal Stetson DeLuxe, and one of the very few genuine Hawaiian-made aloha shirts I own.

It's always nice to be an influence. That hat is the business, too.

That has to be the best looking Adam I’ve ever seen!

Thanks Bill. I am of the opinion that the Adam line of hats are more lovely than almost all of the vtg.Stetson Royal line and the were cheaper at the cash register.

Love everything about that Adam, Eric.

Thanks Steve. I appreciate you opinion and passions of course.

Thanks. The color is hard to represent on this overcast gray summer day.

Charlie, the venerable "Whippet" look can not be done every day IMO. I have been enjoying your recent posts.

Impressive!

Thanks sir. Shopping for hats on your own hat rack is fun.

Lovely hat Jeff. The side profile of the hat show an impressive and appealing architecture.

Thanks for the likes folks.

When I am home on a weekend day I make the most of my day. This morning was no exception. After a dog walk, a grocery and hardware run found me wearing a different hat. The hat, a Lee Dusty Rose indeed has a rosy tint to the light hued felt. The felt is certainly a heavier, very soft, dress weight felt and has a sew under edge treatment. The stitches are spaced and weighted to show a puckered effect of the sewn brim. When I turn the hat over it and look carefully, to my eye, it works with the gestalt of the hat characteristics. The ribbon work challenges most of the other contemporary brands sold above this hat's original offering price.

Grilling some shrimp I changed to a vtg.Mallory. The Comfit sweat by Mallory is just a joy. It makes the hat feel light on the head. This "Custom Edge" gray hat stands out when standing next to other gray/black ribboned hats on my hat rack. Cheers. I raise my glass this morning to all.
