The ghost didn't really belong in this thread though. She was an after hours obsession.
I stepped out on old plastic smile even earlier though. I was driving by anyway, so thought a quick cruise of the Thrift Store was in order.

Thanks, Max. It is particularly nice felt.

Went downtown tonight to listen to a couple of bands. Accompanied by a Biltmore milan homburg.

The first band had a lot more energy than finesse.

The second band, Dickie by name, had a finesse, and a style liked a lot. Or maybe I say that because their lead guitarist and vocalist called out my hat from stage for being Excellent.

Sunny and nice here now, sounds like windy later. Probably be another cap day.

Today...it’s an idk what it is. Kinda Homburgish or riverboat gambler or maybe just an OR style with a curl. I believe it’s been here a time or two.
I think it’s just a confused hat.

And some Willow boot dancing. She couldn’t get in em fast enough! Lol
Be well. Bowen
So a homborgambler? It's a nice hat, that's what it is!

Before I mention the thread subject Ill talk about yesterday's new hat (and I AM WEARING IT now), the light grey, almost ghost like ... hmmmmm, St. Regis. It hasnt even had a good brushing yet, by I felt called to groom it a little this morning. A mite of leather conditioner followed by the hat stretcher eased those old bones, a lot like when I hook into the inversion table, then a good pat down with packing tape helped it's complexion. But steam, just a minor steam, enough that she could sense my affection, set her st ease ( I considered singing Baby It's Cold Outside, but the season was wrong).
I think she likes me!

Historically, I tend to avoid posting photos of myself but this renovated Dobbs Cross Country was my go to for today's warm weather.

I was the same for some time until I thought: why not? Good to see you wearing one of the hats in your awesome collection. And such a good one too: looks like a nice thin felt on that hat, Garrett.

I believe it’s the Montego Bay which is pretty much the Classic Fedora but with a more pronounced sweep. I bought it used so.....

Yes, I thought so. It looks like the Montego Bay. Coincidentally, I was playing around on the Brent Black website a couple of nights ago and kept looking at that particular model. Good looking hat. Great find on you end. Enjoy!

Pop up rain storms this early morning find me wearing an Akubra Campdraft.

This hat, a Fedora Lounge version has a 2.5' brim, is in the bluegrass felt hue. The smaller brim works for my short balding guy frame and features. The liner did not survive my cleaning after some hard sweaty work. Hat continually proves it is very hardy.
