Thanks, Greg! It's a fave, fersher. That is a fine TAR, Jim and one I always enjoy seeing.
I knew you would!
Thanks, Roger. Likewise appreciated!I really appreciate that! That's the way I feel about you and your Homburgs. You wear them very well as you do all of your hats.
Thanks, Steve. Look at it this way: if I am the norm, all of you actually have enhanced visual chromatic abilities! What's it like to have superpowers?Stefan, you may well be colour-blind as you say, but your sense and understanding for colour and shades of them are second to none. Cudos.
You're more than entitled not to like green hats. In fact, we fellow Loungers should be grateful that you don't. It doesn't stop you finding them, buying them, and sending them on their way to us who do.
Thank you!

Max Hatroom?I invented them. [emoji2]
When I bought my first Optimos, I was nervous they might get stolen the first time we left on vacation (they cost 1000 each), so I bought my first safe (first pic). All my Optimos fit comfortably, but I had to stack them. When I came back, they were a little wrinkled and I bought more Optimos, so I special ordered a bigger safe with shelves and put it in my bedroom.
Then I acquired my Moonhaul, so I had a wooden closet built, that can store 33 hats. Wood is expensive in Mexico, and easy to break into, so when I ran out of room there I ordered a bigger safe for only about 15 % more money than what a wooden closet of the same size would have cost, and had it put it in my home office.
When that got too crowded, I had a bigger one built, and now another. This last one will have to be assembled inside the room, and should be ready in about a month.
After that I will have to start putting safes in the garage, so I do believe I will stop. I think. [emoji2]

But you do dress up, Max. Just in a different way. This is assuming you're not a nudist dentist of courseTell the truth, I can appreciate it in someone else, but I just don't care for it myself. I guess I could, if I really wanted to, but I couldn't be bothered. That is why Ana is so surprised that I like hats. After all, they are clothing.
One of the reasons that I chose Dentistry as a profession was that I wouldn't have to dress up every day. I was a child of 16 when I chose, but I was right. I would have hated to, maybe even more than having a boss. Yech!

That has a nice shape to it, Michael. I like the warm coloured ribbons too. Thanks Stefan. They did seem to cover a lot of style bases. Their felts seem a bit soft in general. But I don't have that many examples.
Today it's Mallory The Dallas.

It's not about the cost, Doug, but all about the value. Good looking hat.The Aristocrat for Monday. Kind of a milk chocolate felt with a root beer or copper ribbon.
A cheap o that i cleaned and Mike Miller added a new sweat.

Always a joy to see your hats, Eric. Such a great collection.Cool morning chores have me wearing a vintage Stetson Royal DeLuxe Open Road. The gray felt on this hat is excellent. The rain stopped a few hours ago and the combo of morning sun and the resultant humidly have my pics accurately capturing the hues of the felt. The blue tints to the gray felt show up in these pics.
Best, Eric -
Very nice, Jim. I think it's time Bob's sentence is reconsidered by the bartenders. He is missed.Modern Stetsonian today.
The color is...Kitaen.
Brims up for Bob!
