This 1940's Borsalino is getting a lot of wear these days. It's been to various places in Denmark and on a couple of travels to England. It fits like a glove and even makes me look good in it.
Right now, I prefer it with the brim up, but it's one of those win win hats that work both ways.

Nice looking modern Borsalino, Daniele. You seem to have a gift for making any hat look good on you.
It's very similar to a recent Barbisio I picked up from Stefan. Light felt and not so easy to keep in shape. Now I know that it's to be called an "Artist's hat" I'm more at ease with it

Thanks Steve. I try to wear hats with nonchalance  and with every kind of attire. As you know I'm curious and eclectic about hats. Today I took my first serious walk after a week of cold and caugh and this Borsalino was the only one available in my house, the hats deposit is in my office, so I gave it a ride. Some Italian hats has/had a very light felt, prone to the movement. This is one, others are sitting in the closet

Very nice, Daniele and a relatable question: what to do with this hat? I find that it's easier to say goodbye to a hat when taking into consideration the number of better hats that are in the collection. The lesser ones (or the ones that don't fit right) just won't get any head time. The challenge is more to find a decent home for them.
Stefan I completely agree with you. This has been my serious and in-depth work on my collection. The result was to put a series of hats on the list of likely departures. This is one of those that for various reasons is intended for other heads. Who will buy it will have a great satisfaction, as well as for other contents in some boxes with the word "sale" because I know all too well the value of the hats, especially the European ones.
Let's start the operation "find a house for the hats" :)

Daniele, we should all be curious and eclectic with hats as with everything in life. Curiosity leads to knowledge, knowledge leads to curiosity. And so the wheel of scientific inquisitivity and discovery goes around. Viva Galileo [emoji4]
With regard to your offloading of hats you no longer have a need for: oh, my, bring it on, lucky us on the FL.
Best wishes as always - Steve

Today....tough time capturing the sheen or luster on this one. The richness of the color and the lay of the hair only can be appreciated truly, by the eye.
I do love this... Angora Borsalino Gorasgu in Agata.
Be well. Bowen
Bowen, wow, just wow. It's one of those hats one just wants to touch and feel. It's a beauty alright.

Yes, you do look good in it. Love the ribbon color and contrast. Well done Steve.

That hat is a knock out, Bowen! High crown, wide ribbon, moderate brim, long hair, vintage Borsalino. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Of the last few I have seen you wearing, I like this one the best on you. IMO. Angora Borsalino. I'm a big fan of the long hairs...Nice.

What a great look, Reggie! The classic simplicity just looks great. The nicely tailored coat and the peak lapels with the matching tie and hat just all come together. Some people look too “matchy matchy” when they try it, but yours looks thoughtful and sophisticated. You have some serious sartorial verve!
