Well I seem to have completely forgotten how to type there so I'll start over. Guilty as charged but I bet the cattleman crease shows up soon.

Happy Anniversary Alan. If your hats weren't enough for me to worship you by, are those Bonsai on the table? You are a true master of all things.Today is a day for blessings. I wore a favorite go to synagogue hat from Saks. 37 years ago today, my partner of 45 years and I had a small ceremony with friends. She also wore an outfit from Saks.

Another stellar hat Eric. Love the ribbon.Good day folks. Out this afternoon in a vtg.Stetson Vogue.
Best, Eric -
Sweet back bow John. I was under the idea that the back bow styles came back in fashion between 1955-1959. That is where I date mine.Hey all!
The previously mentioned Disney Handover with a still-basted back bow gets the nod today.
Have a great day!

Best of luck to you Bill. When I first looked at this I thought you had a Mallory "Four" (IV)!Off to get stem cells via I.V. Mallory is the choice for such things.

Almost hated to put my hands into this one but in the end I had to. Just a simple dry center dent with shallow pinches for the 7X CB. The crease can be set on this thing and then makes an audible "pop" when its removed. Show of hands from those that figured a cattleman would be the first crease I put in this thing.

You just have these hats just fall into your hands whenever you are out and about. You amaze me.Turned into a three hat day here. Went bicycling in the rain wearing a brown Backhouse waxed cotton. And then while I was out I found this one,

Today it’s yesterday’s big brother.
While not with the Open Road distinctions.
I believe it demonstrates admirably it’s own distinctions quite well.
Clear Beaver 7X Last Drop Stetson.
And a “Brim up for Bob” who says hello to all.
Be well. Bowen
Love that corded ribbon Doug.Dr's office, waiting around in the Penneys Marathon. Sweet little hat, completely different than my other Marathon.

Super impressive! What a brim.1922 Stetson No. 1 quality by Lake Merritt in Oakland today...
Hope all went well today. I'm catching up after being gone all day... Love that ribbon (like most of the Art creations), and the color combo.Out to dinner with the family under a Stetson 100 with a VS ribbon treatment. Just can’t say enough good things about @Art Fawcett.

Snow! Cripes, I don't even want to think about that stuff! I'm sad enough that summer is winding down. I like the hat though. I enjoy your selections, except for the Yankees one!Been sitting around the freezing mark the last week with off and on snow. So I figured I would break out the old Akubra Down Under

Incidentally, the hat in the auction has a felt ribbon, as did this one until I replaced it with this mid-ribbon last year.

Beautiful color, and that liner logo is pristine. Nice OLD hat Jim.A hat identical to this one is currently available on eBay, though in a 7 1/2. In addition to asking for quite a bit for the hat, the seller has also displayed a photo of a couple with the man wearing the hat, and it is presumably from the 1930s. So, if true, this one's several years older than I originally imagined. It also gives credence to my World's/America's Finest dating theory. Incidentally, the hat in the auction has a felt ribbon, as did this one until I replaced it with this mid-ribbon last year.
