Late in the day, restoration complete & I'm wondering what conditions are like out on the river. My dog is saying "Let's go see!" Wearing my river hat, a Thoroughbred 10X.
More on the canoe restoration here:

Jack; Great hat and a terrific canoe. Love the wood restoration and caning on the seats. I bet it will be a pleasure to take out.
What a glorious Sunday here in the NE.Have a great week!
You look sharp in your duds and hat. Oh but those shoes rock! I wore their cousins today.
Mayser's "Supra" date stamped November 14, 1950. Johann Zehme München was the Royal Bavarian Court Supplier (est. 1834). Unfortunately the famous store closed in 2012 and was replaced by Prada. Here is a story from 2012 and interestingly some of the comments don't match the story content.

I have neglected taking photos of Mayser Paper Labels. This one is actually date stamped November 14, 1950 (14.11.50) so an extra bonus.
The inside sweatband seam is also date stamped!
Steve; You have showcased some wonderful hats of late. I particularly enjoy today's hat with the wonderful swoop profile shape, accoutrements and the accompanying article link. Very interesting article. Thanks for sharing your passion.
Best, Eric -
