Have a great Friday,

Thanks! It is a very cool hat, the felt is perfect! The sweatband is rough, very dry and cracking. I hit it with conditioner twice, and it softened up quite a bit, but I'm sure it's days are numbered. For what I paid for it is worth it t ( to me) to eventually have a new sweatband put in and maybe a wind trolley. I like the obscure orphan hats, they always get a good home and are worn at my houseAWESOME!!!!! I saw that hat, and was going to go back and bid but got distracted!!! When I checked my watch list, it was sold....and did I cuss....well not now!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!! I am soooo glad a fellow lounger got it!!! An obvious rip off of the Stetson Stratoliner!! So VERY Cooll!!!!

Knox 20 today. Love this hat, mainly for the interplay of the blues in it.

You guys need to write down each other's ebay IDs. Why compete if you can collude?Aha, I assumed you were my eBay competitor on that Panizza Zeffiro
I won the sellers other hat offer; the German Resistol.
Sadly a little too small for me, just like the Zeffiro probably would have been.
Aha, well there you go. Had to move pretty quickly for that one. I'll post it soon in the new hats thread. it's a perfect fit for me, so would have been too small for you. Rest assured: it's in good hands. I already have a German made Resistol; great hat too. I have two actually and one is in your size. What size is yours?

It is a wide ribbon for sure. Must have been the in thing in the late 50s and early 60s.Love the F/EW* ribbon on that one.

Excellent hat, Perry. You seem to have a boatload of these obscure hats! I like them.

So beautiful. Is that a new addition, Tonio?
This hat was unlucky, he was in a store for eighty or more years without ever being worn
Today, for the first time, it takes air and sun in an Italian spring...
Breathtaking, Alan.A hat I don't get out in the fresh air often enough. It came with a twin in a slightly different brim length which I passed along quite a few years back. The forty is much like the twenty (which was a great HCA hat) adding a more clay-like felt that holds a crisp crease.
Very nice, Max.My new Caxton Fifteen for Friday golf today.
You can wear a felt all year in Mexico City. [emoji5]

You most definitely need to air that one out more Alan.A hat I don't get out in the fresh air often enough. A very fine hat Tonio.
