I am soooo glad a fellow lounger got it!!! An obvious rip off of the Stetson Stratoliner!! So VERY Cooll!!!!;)
M:)
Thanks! It is a very cool hat, the felt is perfect! The sweatband is rough, very dry and cracking. I hit it with conditioner twice, and it softened up quite a bit, but I'm sure it's days are numbered. For what I paid for it is worth it t ( to me) to eventually have a new sweatband put in and maybe a wind trolley. I like the obscure orphan hats, they always get a good home and are worn at my house :)

A hat I don't get out in the fresh air often enough. It came with a twin in a slightly different brim length which I passed along quite a few years back. The forty is much like the twenty (which was a great HCA hat) adding a more clay-like felt that holds a crisp crease.

Aha, well there you go. Had to move pretty quickly for that one. I'll post it soon in the new hats thread. it's a perfect fit for me, so would have been too small for you. Rest assured: it's in good hands. I already have a German made Resistol; great hat too. I have two actually and one is in your size. What size is yours?

The Resistol is a 56, so more your size.
Can you also wear a 55? I have a German Stetson Excellent Trilby that size.
You guys need to write down each other's ebay IDs. Why compete if you can collude?

Max, unfortunately it is difficult to recognize who you are competing with on eBay, because the names are masked and altered so much.

This hat was unlucky, he was in a store for eighty or more years without ever being worn

Today, for the first time, it takes air and sun in an Italian spring

Whoever guesses the brand and the color has a guided tour of Verona for a day with pizza included

Some indication to start the game: the felt is very soft and the color you see is the real one, the finishes are at the top and the lining is white

The proportions are impressive for a homburg, choose your taste for pizza and let the riddle begin;)

The hat may have been unlucky but the wearer is of good fortune indeed. What a beautiful hat, as new with basting stitch intact. I will guess G.B.Borsalino Fu Lazzaro & C. just to get the contest going.
