I'm feeling chilled this morning. Not generating my usual amount of waste heat I guess.

Don't know who made it, where it was made or what it's made out of. But I do know one thing, it's keeping my head warm.

Throwing some Filson in the mix with it.

Careful, you could cut yourself on that crease! I can feel that clay-like felt all the way in California. I filed a photo of this away for future reference.

Thank you very much Brent.
It does photograph well.
The crease is Tim’s. No sense trying to improve on that.
(Trying out my new language skills after getting spanked)!
Have a fine day my friend.

Greetings All:
Today...it’s a vintage Strat of i don’t know what color. I really wish Stetson would have put the colors on the labels.
They probably didn’t know either.
First time out for this fella.
Honest wear, fine felt, it needs to turn the hat tree if it wants out.
Be well. Bowen
Love the colors on that hat! Those tones are among my very favorites.

Good luck with your pending “discussion”; kids can be trying at times, but most of them do learn from their mistakes (eventually).

Take care,
Regan
Thank you Regan.
Your neighbor.

Strats don't seem to come with wind trolleys. That seems to make that one a fairly rare bird.

Cue 50 posts of Strats with trolleys to prove me wrong.

That one is fantastic Jim, great color and incredible condition.

Thank you, Richard. I had wanted an old Marathon for some time and scored this in the spring. You know that feeling you get when you want something really bad, finally get it, and it's better than you expected? Yeah, that's me and this hat.

And yes, the color is very different and looks better in person.

Ok..so i’ve been here once already but i’m sitting here waiting on my Son to come home, tail between his legs, cause i heard he got to “go downtown” last night, so to speak.
So, i’m having me some 40s waiting!!
This one came from Tim, @Canerodmaker, and it is as near perfect as a hat can be!!
It puts the “C” in claylike and cool without even trying. Thanks Tim!!
Another D 40.
Be well. Bowen
Now where is that boy??
Another fine 40 Bowen

I was up cleaning the new hat safe until 2 am last night, and wanted to put the shelves back in and arrange my hats in it when I got up, but Nooooooo [*Insert John Belushi impression here*]
My youngest daughter is studying interior architecture, and it seems like I have to take her to buy supplies every other weekend. [emoji34]
And on top of that, they are expensive!

Ok...i was teasing someone (Max) with this hat so it came outside for some fresh air.
It’s been awhile.
Dobbs Forty.
Hope it didn’t mess with your putter Max!! Lol
Be well. Bowen
It was hard to do, but I overcame the distraction. Shot 79 yesterday, but I only ended up winning five bucks. [emoji22]
