Wow that is a great hat and a great look.

Back at home by mid-day and removing more accumulated snow. I was wearing a Gannon fedora (whiskey beaver felt with charcoal trimmings).

My hats are worn doing some big efforts. Moving snow today had the hat wet and then icing up with my head heating up the felt from within.

You can see in the pic above that between the warmed hat with warmed air trying to escape and the cold falling snow ice droplets formed on the crown. The hat and I were working hard!

The leather sweat handled the efforts like a champ. The leather sweat did not absorb much moisture. I have continued to treat the leather sweats of the Gannons and VS custom hats I have with Cadillac Select Premium Leather Conditioner. So far only accolades and no challenges for the product. The hat was brushed vigorously, placed on a block and will be steamed the next day. After the winter season I will gently wash the liner in a Woollite solution. The whiskey hued fedora will be ready for more adventures tomorrow. Wear your hats!
