From Yesterday: Afternoon snowshoe in a Stormy Kromer cap. Heavy brush and snow drifts made it hard effort.

Errands done in a Knox Westlite. The felt hue is labeled Forestry.

Great one, Eric. The proportions of that hat suit you so well and likely as fine a green hue that I've seen.

I agree. Over time I have drifted to the flatter, broader brimmed fedoras. If this trend continues, soon I will be in the western hat brim arena.

Great color on that one , Eric.

Thanks Perry. Your hat, shirt, tie, sweater combos have been killing it lately.

This morning I was outside stacking wood in a Gannon fedora (granite and charcoal trimmings).

One more day of floor construction, then painting of the bedrooms the rest of the week. We should be able to move back in over the weekend. It has been quite an experience, and we didn't even have to tear down any walls for this remodel. Another large load going to Goodwill this morning, wearing a grab-and-go Resistol 880 from the late 1950s.

This is a very old French hat made mostly in wool
2qj8zkg.jpg

You can see the felt surface with the grazing light
okv2nm.jpg

It was made by J&B renowned French hat manufacturer who has served the major brands of its country
28u339y.jpg

The hat is branded A. Meer and does not have the lining just a small tip, has on the sweatband the address of the store that dates back to the first forty, then the shop has changed address two other times, so the hat was made before the WWII

Felt is dense, soft and wrinkled. I was fortunate to find a medium end hat never worn

It is one of my favourite for its simplicity
Have a nice day
Thanks a lot for the likes on the green Barbisio!
