Very nice, Jim. Knox Westlites are great hats.Cold and windy as hell. The public debut of the Knox Westlite I found last Friday.
This one sports some unfortunate moth bites at the crown just beneath the bow, but hey, I don't care.
Knox Westlite and the Unfortunate Moth Bites is the name of my Echo & the Bunnymen cover band.

OOOOH, AAAAAH. No matter what they call it, that's a stunner!View attachment 156323 View attachment 156324 View attachment 156325 View attachment 156326 View attachment 156327 Greetings All:
Today...a new to me Borsalino Gorasgu “Silchi”. A very nice overwelt 2 3/4” brim that doesn’t mind where you put it. Actually neither does the rest of the hat.
Another Borsalino done right.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: as always thanks for all the kind words.

There's longhair and there's longhair! Another beauty, Daniele. I love Borsalino's argento colour.I took one of the last chances to wear one of the hairy hats I had forgotten in the cold.
Accomplice a windy day, sometimes cold, the Borsalino has also made its appearance

Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore size 6 1/2 or 60 cm. / 1/2 US

The color is "Argento", no mention of the type

The felt of the hat is extraordinary, soft, malleable and with a fantastic touch. The color is in the tradition of Borsalino: ice white with a slight gray tone, the ribbon is blue

The interior is in blue satin with gold lettering

For this winter, except for unforeseen events, hats with long or medium hair will return to sleep in their lodgings.
Happy Thursday!
An immense thank you for your appreciation
Gorgeous one, Greg. I really like these mid-sized or wider ribbed ribbons.
That has me gasping for air and my knees going wobbly!I brought several hats on this trip, but the Disney has been firmly stuck.

That is a cool hat. Nice work on the brim curl indeed; a rarity on a modern hat.Straight outta the box today.
Hornskov from Copenhagen.
A little bit Charles Russell,
A little bit boss of the Plains,
A lot of weird and wonderful, and I know it’s unusual but I’m pretty delighted at this one so far. 50% beaver body, sorta sugarloaf crown and nicely executed raw pencil curl.

Hey, that sounds exactly like my own "non-system". Very satisfying looking for a hat and experiencing several "ah, yes" moments. No not really, though I do have a shelf where all the hats (mostly derbies) are black. I have no clear system of organization. The time it takes to look for something is usually rewarded by finding something I'd forgotten that I had.
Thanks, Stefan! I like that Marathon, too.Very nice, Jim. Knox Westlites are great hats.
