Everyone is looking great, and it’s so nice to see the array. For once the extreme temperatures aren’t unique to South Dakota!

I’d like to share the assortment from the last few days.

Home this afternoon catching up on outside chores and grilling. The 25'f feels very warm after a week of cool temps.

Early afternoon I was out and about in a great vintage Stetson in caramel hued felt and a sage green ribbon treatment. The "warm weather" is a nice change.

I have started charcoal on the grill for a grilled pork shoulder and have been sport'n a vintage Stetson Playboy. This aft/evening is definitely a brown hued moment.

Very nice grouping. But that Optimo Manhattan is the standout in my mind.

Thanks Stefan. As it happens, I just acquired the jacket yesterday at my favorite thrift's half price sale. British tailored Harris Tweed.

A Super Panizza indeed. Sounds like it should be a racing bike or something.

Thanks D. I don't get this out often enough. It is a lovely hat.

Thanks again, D. They do pair up pretty well together. And they made for a very comfortable walk around town on this rather brisk day. After being in the -20s this week the forecast for the weekend says near 50 and rain. 75 degree swing in 3 days? Could be the jacket weather we missed this fall.

Thanks all,
Michael
Harris Tweed is great. Should last you a lifetime (and several years beyond). Thanks for the likes on the Panizza. Don't know if they made bikes too, but it wouldn't surprise me!

This is what 17 inches of rain in one day can do.

Grandpa put in a small dam in 1969 to divert water to the intake that fed a small lake (pond to you Northeasterners). The 20-foot flood a couple of years ago took out the dam and rerouted the creek to the right of that large dead tree. It came over the lake bank, took out the dock and piled up several trees on the far bank.

The lake is just a big mud puddle now. Nothing $10,000 - $20,000 and permission from the State (unlikely) can’t fix. :(
