I am getting some fedora time before the cold weather sits on Minnesota, USA for a week or so. Earier this morning I wore a VS Stratoliner (clone) in a sage beaver felt. This VS fedora and the Filson wool jacket, kept me warm for a cold dog walk.

This late afternoon I am clearing a light dusting of snow off the driveway and walkways in a vtg. Lee Commentator. This hat has a luscious green felt with a terrific under-welt treatment.

Celebrating a new Homburg in the stable today. I didn't even brush it, it fit so nice out of the box from Holland, I wore it to the store. 1930s Hut Schick from Austria in a beautiful dark olive green. Looks black until the sunlight hits it. Felt is most likely hare, soft as a baby's patootie. I'll get some more detailed images this evening. A quick Google translation of Hut Schick = Chic Hat, it certainly is.

There was only one pic taken that I know of, and I don't know where it is. Back in the old days when everyone didn't have a camere in their pocket... I was standing in front of something bright orange, so the hair kind of blended into the background.
I did, however, get about 15 seconds of full screen closeup in the stands at a Giants game. Had that sucker freshly dyed and gelled sticking straight up. Everyone in my family saw it on TV... :D
I've been looking for this picture since you mentioned yours, John. Found it!
Judging from the Tshirt I have on, I must have been about 19.
I was obviously loaded.

Love that brim stitching a whole bunch Stefan. Beautiful looking felt.

The light tan color on this Dobbs is just right for sunshine. I always enjoy this one John.

Love to see an Akubra in it's natural habitat. Looking sharp Reggie.

Very sweet Jim! Sesquicentennial rules!

Nice WAR Perry.

I just love the lines of a 1930s crown. This is a cool example of the style. Very nice Daniele.

Day-um Son! You really rock this look. That old Stetson is absolutely beautiful, love the colors. That suit is amazing. Wish I was a wiry little sucker so I could find vintage like this:D

Appreciate it, Red!
