Liner from another hat, this did not have one originally.

That's a beauty, Perry. Great color and crease. There is a Weather Hat Company here in South Dakota, about 6 hours from here in a tiny town near Deadwood. I have been in touch with them recently and am planning an excursion out there probably this summer. I wonder if they are related to this one in Sheridan, Wyoming.

We share a birthday! I have a couple of years on you though. Way to celebrate in a nice homburg. Happy day to you my new friend!

I just love the color on that Mallory Fabio!

Even if you feel that way, any hat will make it better... Looking sharp! Wow, what a super liner on that one!;)

Nice one Bob!

Now this is an unusual brand name! Really a cool looking hat to meet the elements in. Appropriate name.

Thanks [Mike?]! Those NW Hats are prime specimens, particularly that long hair navy one with the gills!

Looks here like a South Dakotan bought out the one from Sheridan, which originally started in Colorado. I go this hat over 20 years ago in Wyoming.

Good and thick Premier Stratoliner in sage. Notice frozen rain chain.

Selected these to take on a extended road trip/working vacation.
On top a 40’s Disney Robin Hood.
Bottom, all Stetsons. Hemp Strat in sage, 50’s Stratoliner, and a 60’s Royal, which is slightly stingy at 2 1/4”. Might help to maintain my Northeast identity in the desert Southwest.

Well I originally hail from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, so relatively speaking I am now in southern latitudes as I moved from the northern end of Lake Michigan to the southern end. Compared to what I experienced growing up this is a walk in the park. Besides, this cold weather is good for you, builds character.
It does breed character. We Northerners love to brag about how bad our weather gets. Makes us feel tough I guess LOL.

There is no need to be up there. See above. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I barely ever was indoors growing up, but now for nine months of every year I can hardly bring myself to leave the house, but for the potential of being fired...

Change of pace for you, Greg. Center dent, front pinch and brim up: I like it!

Thanks, Stefan. The hat got the crease it was asking for. Though it will take on about any shape, its western weight and boxy 6" crown call for certain creases. I put a deep diamond in it once and it looked as wide as my shoulders. I really like the brim shape, which is good since it's immovable.
