Sunny day with pleasant temperatures. Cold night and temperatures below zero Celsius.

Walk to enjoy the warmth, accompanied by an ancient Thibet made in France expressely for A. Meer - Strasbourg. The hat is more than a hundred years old and is a blend of fur and wool with a shape that can be dated to the early years of the century. It is wide, but a loved one

It has the features of a homburg without the ribbon edging of the brims.
Imposing with full crown, it has an indescribable charm.

Looks great, Tim. Reminds me, I need to break out my Cambridge bowler for the holidays.

This morning I'm sporting my latest from American Hat Company Frontier Line. Steel Gray grizzly finish Top Hat with contrasting color ribbon and brim edge binding. This one puts a grin on my face every time.

Weather warmed up a bit so I went home and changed for the afternoon( Crocketts not very big and I only live about 8 blocks from downtown) Georgous weather thats perfect for Denim and Open Roads. Tree lighting on top of the Courthouse and Christmas parade was last night. Bought some Christmas gifts, had a beer, had a coffee and visited with some friends... good day

Christmas in Crockett is THE big event here in town all year... About 300 vendors, bunch of food trucks, and unlike most weekends, most downtown businesses are open. If anyones ever in East Texas the weekend before Thanksgiving, drop me a line and come on over! Its a fun weekend and Ive got a couple of spare guestrooms ( we only have one decent hotel in town lol

Echter Mayser, "Superbe", date stamped June 3, 1950. The black felt has a very soft hand. Found this Soft Felt back in 2019.

"Superbe" is definitely the right superlative for your Mayser, Steve. The sweatband looks as soft and supple as the felt.

Great overall shape and dimensions. What are they, btw?

Thank you, gentlemen. I enjoy the unique hat and I always get compliments when I wear it.

The more famous Cambridge bowlers:

Randy, I was thinking of you and your love of Cambridge Bowlers when Timmy posted his Topper.

It's definitely a stylish hybrid.

You wear it well Randy !! First time I've heard the term "Cambridge Bowler"...
I'm gonna have to update my Ebay search list now.lol.
