Thanks, gentlemen. You're sporting some good ones yourselves today.

All three of those are very nice, but that Strat is SMOKING!

Like the new look and the old Strat!
Thank you, all. The Strat is not in pristine condition (John was upfront about that when he sold it to me), but I like it a lot. Definitely an excellent addition to my collection.
As for the new look, Etsuko’s finally getting used to the shaved head. I don’t think she’s a fan of the goatee, but I tidied it up a bit last night, so she was pleased with that.

This is one that has been by you folks before, but not on MY head. :D

Thanks to John @moehawk, this beautiful Stetson Flagship has joined my fedora stable. I've read that the Petersham ribbons only went on the first couple of years' productions, so I'm estimating 1946 or 1947. I also gained my first ever model-specific hatbox! Woo-hoo!!!!

That's a glorious hat, Don. Congrats.

Sometimes they just show up that way; always satisfying. Good looking Dobbs, Randall.

SWEEEEEEEET!!!

Like the Stetson Twenty, the Dobbs Twenty rates pretty high in my book, too, Randall.

Dobbs Fifteen , Guild edge with Leisure Flex sweat.

One more day of rain and then a cold front with nice weather for a week or so. (73 this morning... 38 by Wednesday) Cant wait for Jacket and big hat weather!

Today we take the Akubra Stockman outside with its new 3/8 ribbon and feather. Thinking I need to trim the ribbon ends just a bit more... looks too squared off. Still thinking of doing a Campaign ribbon bow on it with a slightly bigger 1/2" ribbon. Prob going to do an edge binding too just because I can lol

Happy Monday everyone
Antonin Grigio HOM 3.jpg

Today I went with my daughter for a little walk.
She wanted to sign up for a swimming pool and so I wore this antique Chapeau de Luxe - Antonin France.
Antonin Grigio HOM A.jpg
It is an unlined, light and malleable homburg that was made a hundred years ago.
The proportions are the imposing ones of the French Diplomatique of those years.
Antonin Grigio HOM 2.jpg
No indication of the color and model, the paper label is missing, even though it arrived intact from Strasbourg about ten years ago. Only the size is present: it is a 60 centimeters so a 7 1/2.
The fishing of hats that year was miraculous in France

I thank everyone for the compliments and likes of last week, they are reciprocated to all of you
