Thanks Red. It's been a bit of an odd winter here too. Started out cold and wet early and then went above average and dry for Dec. Now it's getting a little closer to the average in both.

Love the color that hat is showing in the photos. Great hat.

Thank you! This 3x open road is from the later 60s judging from the size tag. Still an open crown with a wind trolley and embroidered last drop liner. Really a great hat.

Guerra 1855 is not so common in Italy, it is/was (I really don't know the situation of their production) more often found on the international market.

This is the last of the perfect trio of hats of the same shape but in different colors of felt and ribbons

The felt is the softer of the bunch of hairy hats I showed these weeks

The colors of the felts, certainly supplied to the War by other producers, are very intense
