Just a super soft and comfy plain ole Stratoliner at our gig last night at one of our favorite places to play.

Great hat Michael.
And your style is awesome, I like it
Thanks Mike. I need to dig that hat out more often.

Thanks, Michael. Not in the neighbourhood of 1000 hats (thank goodness); leaves me something to strive for:)
Nice colour on that Penney's.
You must at least be in the same suburb as 1000. Ha ha. The Penney's does have a nicely hued gray going on.

Nice Knox, Michael. No corners were cut with the outfit; spot on.
Thanks Stefan.

I like it. That appears to be approaching the darkest of blues, rather like my Mirtillo Borsa. Which reminds me, I need to dig that one out again one of these days.

Lovely day here today with sun, calm winds and a high in the 50s. i think i might go walkabout under this Royal Open Road.

HAPPY SATURDAY, Folks!!!

Late forties Lee Gold label for this rainy day here in New England...
It gives me great pride to say this hat has always been a size 7-3/4, never modified, never resized; TRUE to its historic origin.

How about a liner and sweat pic, Charlie? I have never seen a Lee Gold Label before

Just shoot me now... Going furniture shopping with the wife this morning. We need to fill up 10' of wall space with entertainment center and hutch like storage in the "fish room" next to my new 120 gallon aquarium. I thought a nice, comfortable fedora was in order. The Resistol 880 came to hand. Sure like this hat, Brent was a gem to gift it to me. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Interesting. Is Maviso some obscure European brand? Love the lines and brim curl.
Thanks, Michael and Mike. The Maviso is a recent find and in colour akin to the Mirtillo by Borsalino. The felt is fantastic on it. Barbisio is on the list of suspected makers.

Both the Open Road and the Resistol you guys are sporting today are lovely hats by the way.

That hat is right up there in the Stratosphere Jim. The color is so interesting.

Thanks, Mike. Nice 880

I really really like this one Jim!
The color appears very dark blue. How vintage is it? I don’t recall seeing it before but somedays i don’t recall....err
B

It's the one with the checkered liner. Kind of a weird blue with greyish undertones. Very hard to describe.

Greetings All:
Today....it’s one i think i’ve overlooked. (Chuckling at myself).
Was pondering the world of forgetfulness.
Anyway....50’s (late) Stetson Twenty-Five.
Lotta crown, pretty good brim. A pretty fine hat. No idea if it’s ever been posted.
Chuckle
Be well. Bowen
