Thanks, Mark! This one garners the most compliments from folks when out in public.
A black dude came up to me in the local grocery store and said, “Man, you know you be styling the best drip widdat hat wherever you at!”
And he was right. You might have some competition if members of the FL had a convention/get-together in your town, but otherwise, I think you could rest assured you were rockin' the winner. :D

Thanks. Jackson Heights probably hasn't changed much as the housing/commercial buildings were good quality and densely spaced. We moved from an apartment house to a private house on 75th St. in 1963. The security necessity of metal gates came through after I left for college. Walking around the neighborhood at night you could look in all the store windows. But I hear Jahn's is still there, which is a blessing. ;^)
Indeed—going strong!

It's a Wolfbrae weekend. If I could go back in time, I would ask Robert to give it a little more crown, but it was my first custom hat and I still love it.

Great to see the full works on display, Robert. Suit, tie, hat, glasses and watch (if you add a thousand quid to the price of the watch it's called a "timepiece" these days). Excellence.
Thanks Stefan, the watch was a gift from my lady, it's a real one, no batteries, you have to rotate the winder to make it go. It's not brand new either, much better it's an Omega, I think it dates back to the late 40's or maybe early 50's. I do cherish it.

Talking of the lady, I'm waiting for her to get ready for church, I shall just go and get the car out of the garage and hopefully, by the time that's done she will be ready. It will just give me time to peruse hats of the week.

You may just have, it depends a bit on how long you linger on each hat ;)

Mossant (love that deep brown colour) and second Gorasgu for me. But all as spectacular as usual.
