What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

1940's Dobbs "Gay Prince" size 7 1/2. Picked this up online last week. It was listed on the Yuma SPCA charity items for sale. When I saw it, I had to look twice, and I hit the Buy It Now button so fast that my finger dislocated. :) They only had listed for 60.00. It's in remarkable condition and still has the original feather. Mark wears a Indiana Jones fedora [minus the pin] They sell them in Diggers wifes store, Fruit Jar Alley in Newport.

I commented before I read Rusty's response. Looks like we have a little catch-up to do.

It’s an interesting show to watch but I can’t stand seeing alcohol being made with processed sugar.
My grandfather told me stories of him helping his uncle haul 50 bags of sugar to make moonshine in Athens Alabama.
This was back in the 1920s !
On a Place he called Mason Island in the Tennessee River.

Thanks Rusty. Always liked his hat.
Hope he sells a million of them.
B
.Yes... he wears it well. I have one of them that I wear at work. Wool felt can take a beating and not have alot invested in a nice enough hat to work in.
I did raise the front crease [over time] and trim the brim. For some reason in my old age a shorter brim appeals to me now.

I love that show even though i’ve been clean and sober some 20 years.
But…if i ever fall off the wagon it’ll
be shine which i regret i’ve never tasted.
Then i’m gonna be a Moonshiner.
Guy’s gotta have a backup plan!
