I wore a my Akubra Stockman and Angler early in the week for work.

Yesterday I wore my Resistol San Antonio.

Today was my charcoal heather Wolfbrae.

Dang! I really cannot understand that. I think it's because I was born in Acapulco, but cold gives me a very similar sensation to fright.
When I feel afraid I quickly turn it to anger, just because it is less unpleasant, but I can't shake the cold.
The first time I felt true cold was in Chicago, when I went to my postgraduate program interview. When the automatic doors to exit the airport openned and I took my first breath outside it was shockingly incomprehensible!
The cab driver kept laughing at me the whole way.
"It's not really that cold out, cousin".

Bought my first B 3 specifically for Chicago weather. Possibly the only time I’ve ever had to layer under it

Love the Whippet paired with the carhartt! My felt hats often accompany my old Carhartt. I'll be wearing similar attire tomorrow.

Speaking of the Handsome Enabler, here is a beautiful Dobbs Fifteen from said gentleman. A wonderful, mid-weight hat that really holds its own with other hats of similar vintage. This is also one with a brim you either twist, curl, and turn to snap down under force or yield to the will of the hat. In the end, I yield to the hat and wear it brim up!

Echter Borsalino "Bismuto" "Sanboca" date stamped May 17, 1929. This Soft Felt is very much of the time period and location. The Berlin store Max Eckard that sold the hat did not survive WWII. This hat is in NOS condition and one of three 1929 Echter Borsalinos from my April 2015 find.

This case came with the hat but was from a different Berlin hat store "Wilhelm Gaedke" that also didn't survive WWII. The protective package appears of the time period so probably original. All three hats came with similar cases and protective packaging.

That is one absolutely amazing Hat. Love it!

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Superior" later 1930s. Most likely designed not to wear with side dents so a Stiffer Soft Felt with very dense felt. This Soft Felt is in NOS condition and I found it back in 2009.
