What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

I wanted to give my contribution to the thread dedicated to wool hats by publishing the photographs of the French and Italians shown here seven or eight years ago

Unfortunately the images are gone due to storage issues

I then start again wearing a "Thibet Luxe made especially for A. Meer"
Probably made in France in the early years of the last century.

The hatter is Jean Bourell, nothing else is written on the paper label.
Bought like many other hats, about fifty, in store inventories managed by the son of the last owner of the Strasbourg shop "A. Meer".

It arrived new, just as it had been made a hundred years ago.
I say it: it is one of the best hats in my collection among the antique ones.
