Can't go wrong with that one, Steve. Lovely. While the window of opportunity lets me in to post on the still sluggish FL, I'll quickly post my hat of yesterday.
Borsalino Bismuto circa late 50s, early 60s.

So there is a limit to the flexibility of your hat size. Good to know. Looks like one of those stingies that doesn't feel like a tiny hat.View attachment 551432
Being a 7 1/2... this one will eventually move on to a new home. But just for fun I wanted to see just what a hat about 4 sizes too big looked like on my head. Oddly even though it is definitely way too large.. it didn’t look that ridiculous.

I did it!!
Cool; it deserves to be worn.
Super looking homburg, Jonathan. You've been knocking them out of the park lately.
That’s a beauty! If it isn’t too much trouble could you post a shot of the inside and show any indicators of an early 50’s Borsalino? Thanks much!Early 50’s Borsalino

Still trying to figure out what this means. I have been accused of wearing an aluminum hat before….might as well take the aluminum pole too i guess.I see the grievances crowd is getting the old aluminum pole polished up as well. To each their own! ;D

I personally don’t have enough stingy brims, anyway. It would have to be a half-mas for me.
Royal Stetson Deluxe this arvo. This guy is slowly getting head time in order to stretch him just a bit. Still need to work up the brim.
Amazing hat. It will make its society debut this year at Christmas/ Hanukkah/Festivus/Equinox/whatevermas. (for my family it will be Christmas).
Happy holiday today to folks in the US and Canada.

Apparently there are limits. I don’t think there is any degree of ego boost that could allow my head to fit this one.. nor do I think growing out the hair is much of an option at this point. I think you described it well. I’m thinking it is the very soft nature of the felt that let’s it’s kinda drape over my head almost in a cap like fashion that makes it not appear comical. So there is a limit to the flexibility of your hat size. Good to know. Looks like one of those stingies that doesn't feel like a tiny hat.
Goes very well with that jacket. Nice.
Made for it. Very nice, Steve.Off out on an evening jaunt. It's very windy outside so chose this ca. 1930s Belgium/French made Bowler to wear as I knew it would stick to my head and not blow away

Thanks Steve! Maybe I’ll take him out for a walk and see how it goes. It really is a nice feeling felt. You carry off that big beauty so well inside, Nathan. I'm sure you could pull it off outside.
Dank u wel, Stefan! Definitely one of the highlights of my collection.Truly gorgeous hat, Nathan.
