Wearing a black hat will sometimes get a comment, but today's
remark came from a fellow blown away by the fact that I was
wearing black and white patent leather shoes. Still he did end up
complimenting the hat. Having let him photograph me I shall
probably be on Facebook or whatever. Let me know if you see it.

Looking great Robert.
Thank you Joe, my appearance today has had a number of positive comments, you probably guessed that Tina made my shirt and trousers.

Whilst we are on the compliments I must say that you certainly gave your Culture Club concert a worthy appraisal. What's the betting that had you been born twenty years previously you might have been in the audience when The Beatles played at Shea Stadium back in the 60's.

Great looking straws you're both wearing, Gary. Love the shirts, too.

Your pug and Etsuko’s ekstra western hatband are the icing on the cakes.
Thanks, Steve, though I think most people will be too taken with that magnificent Gay Blade to notice my offering.
Etsuko’s is, in fact, a summer dress. It’s my first outing in the shirt from Japanese brand, Kawatani Shirts. Their designs are always interesting. I own three of their shirts.

Quite possibly.. considering my dad’s nickname as a teen was “Beatle” due too his name sounding almost identical to a certain founding member of the band.

Brave man, Alan wearing THAT hat.
Smart man being clean shaven.
Nothing like holding a 3 and under grand child in your arms!!
Especially when they grab two handfuls of beard….or a hat!!
How many hats has the little one modified for you?
I have 3 or 4 “customs” now.
Every time i see their work i just smile because they grow up sooo fast!

<smile>... he's actually been pretty gentle when in the hat room. The shelves go down to the floor so an easy grab and go if he has a mind, but so far his attention has been diverted by other crazy stuff we collect and keep around the house. I don't expect it will be as easy with our little Lena, who turns one next week. Thanks for the note, Bowen, hope all is well with you and yours.

To continue the derail:
Just for you, Alan.
Yours, mine and then the last of the hat girl before she went Princess mode.
We are well here.
