F. Witzleben, Leipzig Bismarkhaus possibly mid 1920s early 1930s. Interesting color Felt and Band. Also an impressive company Crest. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2013.

Bismarkhaus Postcard possibly 1890s

That one's great: Not only that you show us again an unusual Melone in a fantastic brown, but I as a Leipziger like of course the local history especially. Witzleben was a master furrier, as there were many in the European metropolis of the fur trade Leipzig. The hat was sold in the associated fashion store, but is - as you surely know - certainly sourced from elsewhere. Unfortunately, the Bismarckhaus no longer exists, as it fell victim to WW II:

Matt, Thank you! Yes, I haven't been able to determine the source Hat company. I have some info on Witzleben on my website. Yes, it's very unfortunate that the Bismarckhaus was destroyed in WWII.
