Phoenix in pecan beaver:
I think I've said this before, but always worth repeating: I really like your Daltons, Jim. Sadly, It's a brand I lack in my collection.
Thanks Jim. Ja, that's my size. Let me know if you find one. Thanks, Steve. You're what, 7 1/8, right? I'll keep an eye out, but the last couple of 7 1/8s fit me OK, but perhaps some time I can find you one.
Beautiful hat, Mike, and great work, Randall!Late 40's or so Stetsonian, which Randall just cleaned, shaped, and put a new ribbon on. The last photo was before Randall's work. The ribbon originally was about black, but had faded over the years to yellow or gold.
I am still infatuated with the obedient qualities of the felt on this Kitten finish Resistol Beaver 15. With a tip of a finger drew in these side dents.

I really like the way this crease looks from the side or at a distance. Not so much from the front

But no worries…. Quickly switch to a front pinch

Funny.. on a western hat a center dent with side dents would be some variation of a cattleman’s crease. On a dress hat…. More of a Banker’s Crease.
