My favs this week Rockel and Cassé Peschel Biber does make for a nice change of paceThe hats of the week. On some days a very bright shining orb could even be seen in the sky. Very strange. Think I should report that?

Later on we went out to our favourite yakitori place. I wore my silverbelly Campdraft…

Fabulous lineup today, Eric. Not often we get treated to two different Rockel on same day… via yourself and StefanGood morning folks. Morning walkabout in a Stetson Scoop. This 30's fedora has a 2.25" overwelt brim and very malleable felt. It is a pleasure to take out of the box and gently wear.
Home and moving snow while under the brim of a "fuzzy" Rochel fedora. The hat was very photogenic this morning.
I have started the grill to prepare a roast for an afternoon meal. My grill hat is a vintage Stetson Stratoliner.
Cheers, Eric -
Indeed it does, but the Homburg, magnificent though it is, it would freak any felon. Gary looks like a British judge on his way to court. Fabulous image!Great looking hats and photos, you two. That camp draft really looks sharp on you, Gary
Thank you for your kind remarks Stefan, much appreciated. Indeed I will take great care of her. Have to admit though, I did wear the pages of the prayer book rather thin, this modern day plague is wretched indeed.Glad to hear you're both on the mend, Robert. And by the looks of things it hasn't dimished any of the usual panache. Best to pamper the lady some more for a bit; where are you ever going to find another like that!?
It's gray, damp and drizzling in Rome, GA today, might as well be in England. Picking up on Stefan's military style coat, here's my late 40's- early 50's blue Mallory and a 1953 English Civil Defense coat I found in about 2010 at Goodwill for no more than $25. A lot of sheep got haircuts to make this coat! It's quite heavy-duty.The hats of the week. On some days a very bright shining orb could even be seen in the sky. Very strange. Great hats and food pics. I can only applaud that!Having spent time with the New Zealand and Canadian side of the family, it was time to catch up with the Japanese side. For the occasion, I wore my Hornskov Mogul.

Good for you, Brent. I'm working on it as well, but I'm not yet in the stage to consider buying new shirts. Great hat by the way.1951 Stetson St. Regis for Sunday services:

I’ve lost some weight (more to go) and my shirts are now several sizes too large. I’ll have to buy new shirts soon.

If you're not careful you could end up a size 7!Man, it’s tough the older we get. I’m down 35 pounds and still have a long way to go. My life has become way too sedentary and the weight just piled on. So far I haven’t noticed any difference in how my hats fit. Whew!
