Are you serious or...?
Completely serious. I love green hats. In truth, I like just about every color.

Ik also like the color green, but it has to be dark (green). ;-)
Me neither. But red hats are not looking great on me i think. There aren’t many colors or shades thereof that I don’t like.

But it is one of the most eye catching. You pull it off excellently Brent, especially with that choice of shirt to go with it.Red can be tough. He’s my Agnoulita in the color wine in antelope/suede finish.

I like the color, but it’s not the most versatile.
Cavanagh Homburg for today's walkabout.
A big thanks to Jonathan @TheOldFashioned for this one.

My hats for the week first was the Scala Classico when I thought we were having a cooler day. Today I decided not quite cool enough for felt so I wore my Dockers paper straw
Green for the win! The sweat band makes it wear light I bet.
The hats this week.

Thanks for your likes these days.
Today a medium quality hat sold in France and, perhaps, "disguised" as English. Patterson - Pure fur felt.

This says the mold inside the crown. The paper label, printed in French, says the color is "Shetland Auburn"

A color, auburn, which I often found in the colors of French hats and very little in the English ones.

However it is a heather coppery felt of excellent quality, finished well and with classic proportions.

it's part of a chance find in France where a variety of hats moved to Verona

Have a nice Sunday
You are definitely the best hatted forester in the country, Eric.
Your Gannons are always a joy to behold, but that blue mist beaver Playboy is in a league of its own. The spiral stitched 30s Fedora is cooly unique.
Thanks for continuing to share your outstanding hat collection, sir.
All beautiful Eric—do you recall what block Michael used for the Steel Gray? Would it be enough to reference “Eric’s Wanderers” to get the same?
Thanks,
David
Thanks sir. The spiral stitch was an aquisition from Garret. He has some of the absolutely finest vintage fedoras. Thanks, Steve. Don't really know who the maker was of this one. It's one of those German brands that are a mystery.
Gorgeous selection as always, Eric. The spiral stitch hat stands out in this batch.
Beautiful. Love that colour.
Stetson St. Regis converted to a whippet style for me by a fellow lounger. To my taste it has perfect fedora dimensions and shape.
Cheers,
David

The Royal DeLuxe has been given many more years of wearing with the new sweatband. Sharp.1950’s Stetson with a replaced sweatband. View attachment 456462 View attachment 456463 View attachment 456464
We decided to go ahead with a barbecue yesterday as the weather appeared to be holding out despite the forecast. Unfortunately, the rain settled in soon after we started. I wore my Akubra Cattleman to start. It kept my head dry as I tended the barbecue, but when it got so soaked that water started running off it into the food, I swapped it out for my Akubra Snowy River.

The food? Four different homemade rubs…
View attachment 456520
Top left to right: Jerk rub for ribs, lime herb rub for stuffed pork tenderloin.
Bottom left to right: Sweet rub for ribs and the latest incarnation of my Texas Ninja rub; salt, loads of pepper, loads of sansho and some powdered soy sauce.

Terrific hats as usual Eric, I can't even pick a favorite today. Cheers!Yesterday I visited my neighbors wearing the Dobbs Leisure Light. It is difficult to capture the glorious black felt of this vintage hat. Here is yesterdays attempt.
Up and about way too early I wore a Stetson Bantam (blue felt) to the grocery store. Hey who forgot to get eggs, milk and cream? Duh!
My hat for an early morning walkabout was inspired by the Dobbs Leisure Light - a Dobbs Coachman (inky blue felt hue).
I managed some yard efforts under the brim of an unlined Playboy.
Cheers, Eric -

Great hat and shirt, Shoe. I like the cattelman crease. My first Hornskov of the season for a visit to the outlet shopping mall. A beaver bunny western weight blend in stone with a dusty rose ribbon. View attachment 456567 View attachment 456569
I’m still not entirely comfortable in a cattleman crease and may well change it on this hat.
The Hornskov is not a hat for driving. In the car I went for this cap from The British Millerain Co. View attachment 456568
