What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Today an interesting example that was sold in pre-revolutionary Havana, 1940s would be my guess. The straw is flecked with color here and there and the palm strips seem flatter than in the Cavanagh I posted yesterday though the weave fineness is similar. I'm very fond of the blocking and dimensions in this hat. It came to me from our good hat friend @buler.

We are at a festival, just got back to our motor home, Tina is in the shower and if she finds out I have the laptop open it will be me that's in hot water, and i'm not talking about the shower.

The Panama compliments Tina's handiwork, that of my shirt and trousers, perfectly, what's more, the weather made it perfect for a Panama.

Time to close the laptop before I get caught.
