Joao, good to see a black grizzly on your head! Looks like your preferred dimensions.

I would prefer a lil' bit more crown. Or a less tapper front and back. Or it's the crown shape/roundness. There is something with the crown of this AHC that I dislike.
Between this one and the Resistol Panda, I would go first for the Panda. Don't know if the Resistol is worst quality but I like it more.

Today....it’s a new to me vintage 50s 3X Open Road. What caught my eye was the color combination. I like them when they develop some rose color in the ribbon and binding. None of my others have that so i welcome the addition.

Actually that's my wife in her favorite vintage Resistol beater.

I was wearing a newer beater Resistol until I got too hot from shuttling bucked-up firewood down to the splitting pile.

It's great to come home from your travels and find a box of 3 hats waiting for you from your favourite Dutch hat-pusher [emoji4]. So, it was a two hat day today.
The first is a super, soft felt Vanzina Homburg. Truly a much underrated and overseen Italian hat maker in my opinion. This one is pre Borsalino takeover.
The second, a very nice grey Borsalino fedora. It's my first hat with a wind cord. So, along with all the boxes this Borsa ticked, the wind cord was an extra plus.

A nice pair of hats. The Vanzina is particularly sweet.

Went out to select color for the repaint of the entire house. Who knew there were a million different tones of gray. We don't have this problem with felt! Just shoot me now. Wore a workhorse grab and go with the Dobbs Twenty.
