undecided...
Thank you, Brent.Love them all, Stefan, but the brim curl on the brown Mossant is incredible.
Well, send them over and maybe I can come to a decision
All of the above. What a beautiful photo!
You set the standard!Always so complimentary, you are a true gentleman, Sir. Tina said that she thought that I always wore the grey Stetson with that shirt and how good the nutmeg colour compliments the shirt.
Given that kind of praise I just had to wear my cream straw Gamboa today. A gift from Tina. I wore it with the shirt and trousers that she made for me, along with shoe artisan Colin Johnson's Gibson style shoes.

Thank you Bill, your Sunday service attire is always something special, got to look your best for your maker. You set the standard!
Whatever the cost Bob, it's worth it. The lady looks like she's loving it. Back in 1980's Tina fell in love with a French car, it was called a Talbot Rancho, dubbed a very poor Range Rover. Nonetheless she loved it, even though it was under powered, had countless mechanical issues and was a pig to drive. Three years on, it had to go.Thanks Robert. 54 this year? Amazing -- you two must have married in your early teens. The only plan that I know of for now is to cruise around in her Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary gift (as soon as the dealership adds some accessories and I hand them a check -- then get back to selling hats to try and cover some of that debt).

To you Stefan, I doff my hat and say thank you very much. Appreciated. Tina would never post either here or elsewhere, I know she enjoys reading Lounger's comments though. How flustered she becomes when her work is complimented. So, on her behalf, thank you, to you and everyone else, who put in such a kind word, praising her talent.A gentleman head to toe, Robert. Nice to have a bit of sun to go with it!
Chapeau Grataloup the last few days.
I'll be glad to see the back of the building behind me. It's Denmark's largest hospital in Copenhagen. My youngest daughter has been holed up there since Thursday. Hopefully, she'll be able to come home tomorrow. Fingers crossed! View attachment 417408 View attachment 417409

Lookin sharp!
Thanks Bob, Randall, and Stefan @steur. Nothing serious, thankfully. A chronic illness, debilitating while it lasts, but she's a tough cookie and always bounces back.Great looking hat, coat and scarf Steve. Wishing your daughter a short stay and an excellent outcome. Hang in there Dad.
I’m really digging both of those Mossants! So much presence! This week had me facing storm winds mostly and by chance I chose to face that with a cast of homburgs. Almost as good facing strong winds as bowlers.

You do look like you just ended a long road trip. The hat looks great though!
Congrats to you both on the Silver Anniversary Gary and Etsuko! You appear far too young to have reached that milestone though. Ours is coming up in a couple of weeks. It will be ... uh ... hold on ... our 39th (!?). Then again, maybe you are old enough.
I suppose, Ross, it’s pretty cool to own a Stetson with a LOT# starting with a 4.
Me, I’m on the lookout for #0001.
Sarcasm rules.
Who is that unmasked man in the rare Stetson?
Great old hat!Thank you, Bob! So glad the drive is done, time for a little R&R.
Ha! Cheers Randall! With your eye for hats, I’m sure you’ll find one (maybe two?) within the next few months. I feel another vintage hat season may be upon us.
I literally shaved my face blanket right after finishing the 4 day drive cross country, and regretted it immediately again haha. Tough learning lesson.
A few more better light pics from today. I’ll need to have it cleaned up more before I share it in the pre 1940’s thread.

Traditional Silver Anniversary gift Is felt....in case you/we have forgotten.Etsuko and I turn 25 on Wednesday. We’re both working on the day, but we both have Monday off and both took Tuesday off.
We’re celebrating our silver wedding anniversary with a three day weekend in Kobe - me in my Hornskov Mogul and Etsuko in her Akubra Leisure Time.
