Huber Velvet on this wonderfully sunny day. All the blue in the background makes the hat seem a shade of the same colour. It is in fact grey. Something the last few days definitely haven't been weather wise.

Not a blue hat for a blue day, but a grey hat with wonderful felt.

Continue the good weather in a dry winter.

Today a Tonak brother of yesterday's. same finish as the "antelope" felt and a color that Tonak interprets very well: blue.

We often talk about currently made felts and I would like to praise the Czech factory which, personally, interprets special finishes with great skill.

In this case the deep blue is very solid and with a unique shade

I wish you a happy day and I sincerely thank you for the likes of yesterday

Very nice, Daniele. Tonak may have found its third youth.

Gorgeous hat, Jim. The 3x deserves more appreciation.

Borsalino Empaspo in a Misto Gris Feb color View attachment 406881
Super hat. We don't see backbows on Borsalinos that much.

Borsalino Fantespo—I think! Please correct me @steur if I am wrong about the model.

Happy Friday all!

Cheers,

David

Fantespo is correct, but they could have called it fantastico as well. Fabulous hat!

The second of the two Aurel Huber hats I own. A bit older than the velvet finish one I wore earlier in the week.

This one is a chamois. The sky was somewhat overcast today, so the light didn't quite catch the golden orange rust tones in the felt, ribbon, and binding. Sadly, it has lost its liner, but the soft sweat makes it more than comfortable to wear for a man without hair :)

I was a Boy Scout. I'm always prepared for

Hey all!
I've got upbrim on my mind for some reason so I put one on my head.
J. C. Penney's Marathon "Genuine Velour" which I'm sure doesn't hold a candle to some of the top-notch velours posted here but it still has swagger. Especially with that bow!

Have a great day!
Everything about that one has swagger, style, and quality, John. Especially love the bow treatment.

I was a Boy Scout. I'm always prepared for that!
I'm not sure Baden-Powell had St. Patrick's Day in mind when he asked his boys to be prepared :) .

I was a Boys Brigader. Not sure we were meant to be prepared for it either.

However, let's drink, celebrate, be merry, and lift a glass to friends near and far in these strange times.

Sláinte, Jim
