Coffee after filling bird feeders. An unlined blue Stetson Playboy was my hat choice.

I wanted to cut some fallen limbs up and I changed to a "working hat." A later Stetson Playboy same felt hue was the perfect choice.

Now that it is nearly 8:00am I am heading out for essential errands.

Whereas I’m a man of leisure and by 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday I’m thinking about maybe getting out of bed.

I always love your hats and outfits, Eric, but I feel like an undisciplined slacker when I see all you accomplish. I don’t feel bad about being “me,” it just brings it into sharper relief by the contrast. :)

Your posts never disappoint, Stefan. Truly wonderful hats worn with panache.
Thank you, Brent.

Love 'em all, Stefan, but I have a soft spot for Mallorys
Thanks, Jim. It's a wonderful hat, not worn enough because it's sitting safely in a hatbox.
Looking good, Dave. A special find that one.

A Stetson Vogue went back to work with me after lunch.

Home this evening and have been strolling the property in a Gannon Wanderer (blue beaver felt with charcoal trimmings).

The Vogue is wonderful, but the Gannon really catches my eye for some reason.

Out for a bit this evening in a 40s (or thereabout) Stetson Playboy.

A beauty, Jim. Something very attractive about that model.
Fantastic line up Stefan! So hard to choose a favourite, I am leaning towards the Tirard and the Mallory, I think, but I might change later ;) all gorgeous
Thanks, Panos. Something about those homburgs, isn't there? Hard to resist those once you get the bug.

View attachment 333122 View attachment 333123 View attachment 333124 After months of deciding what bash to put in akubra campdraft I decided on this and actually put small crease in sides to give it a miniature Dr. Doolittle look View attachment 333122 View attachment 333122
Very nice. That crease works well for that hat.

My new-to-me Adam Mr. Main Street accompanied me this morning for some light gardening, with barbecue smoking duty in the background. Neither my hat collection nor my culinary skills are on par with @The Shoe or @Short Balding Guy, but one may aspire.
Great looking hat. Love the ribbed ribbon and the stitched brim binding.

My brush-burning Resistol...

For a moment there I thought you had gone all fouquet on us by setting your hat on fire, Bob.
The softness of the felt comes across from the pics, Jim.

Two hat kind of day. First Akubra Federaton Deluxe III

I have been wearing earth tones for so long I feel odd in a grey hat. Can I even pull off this colour?
Johnny
Yes, you can. Looks great, Johnny.

Mid-afternoon in my neighborood and I have come back from a walkabout in a vinage Stetson Open Road (gray).

The walk followed a lunch with my wife. While grilling sausages I sipped a local Surley IPA. My VS (dove with charcoal trimmings) fedora kept the sun from my head.

Mother's Day grocery run mid-morning found me being very reserved around the crowds. In the future I will do essential grocery shopping early morning in the future. A Gannon Wanderer ( steel gray mid-ribbon (charcoal)) was my "essential" adventure fedora.
