What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Hey all!
The Keith Brothers "The Tiger Special" line of hats was, according to the Professor, produced between 1905ish till 1921. That means that mine is now at least one hundred years old.

If I recall correctly a Lounger whose name I forget (but whose knowledge I respect) mentioned that this big, rumpled, "carefully careless" bow was a thing briefly in the late nineteen-teens so I suspect it hit triples a few years back.
The best pics of the insides are posted in the Keith Bros hats and caps thread.
Additional note: my selfie grimace has not suffered from lack of use.
Have a great day!

Good to see you, John. That’s a great hat and at a glance I thought it was old, but 1921 or earlier makes it an incredible find.

Thanks Brent!
The only other I had seen before I spotted this one on the Goodwill site was one Alan had posted. His, of course, in far better condition but I'm still stoked just to have one at all!

Winter isn't done with us yet (snow is expected for easter) and some serious political shenanigans (what else?) this week.
I wish there was a “Like” button for each photo!

The third hat of the three (which is the star, in my opinion) will have to wait for another day (you can see it in the “What hat are you waiting for today?” thread if you really need to).
Very nice, Gary. Panizza made some wonderful hats back in their day and I like the look of the felt on yours.

That heathered felt is sublime. The ribbon treatment really adds to it, too, much more than a plain one would. That's is a fantastic hat!
