Happy St. Patrick’s Day. I always have a little fun on this holiday. This year it began last weekend since I had all of my kids here at the same time.
Here are the recent hats of the day.
Baron Hats dark moss bowler, Hannah Hats flat cap, an awkwardly cut flat cap in Cape Breton tartan, from where hundreds of my relatives hail, and a little brown Resistol back bow homburg.

I like that Dobbs Harris Tweed model. I haven't worn a fabric hat in quite awhile, but I used to get more positive comments on some of the ones I have than I ever get for my felt hats.

Thanks Michael. I tend to be the same way.. I have one or two others I mostly don’t wear.. but That shade kinda caught my eye. I figure it makes a nice change of pace. Besides I sure wasn’t going to pass up that Strat because of its unruly friends.

I was going to wear orange today and see if any Catholics want to fight. Then i remembered another reason why i dont drink anymore.

My plans for St. Patrick’s Day centered around an evening visit with my Mom at “the home” which would have allowed me to give her a hug for the first time in over a year. Sadly the weather is keeping us close to our basement in case the tornado siren starts wailing. I stayed with the Bowler/Derby theme, tossed on some green and tossed back a couple beers from St. James ... Missouri.
