Beautiful, TerryWearing a '50s era Resistol 10 Homburg that a fellow Lounger gave to me. This is an amazing hat and it's all in pristine condition. I always wanted to try a Homburg but when I put it on it was obvious that a Homburg just wasn't me. So I converted it. Nothing was removed from this hat so it was a fairly simple conversion that didn't require a lot of skill other than care and patience, and a brim flange. Notice the decorative stitching near the brim binding. I have more in the conversion corral...
The first fedora I ever owned was a gray Whippet style hat with a black ribbon and matching brim binding that my Grandfather gave to me back in the early '70s. I really liked that hat. I was in High School then and I ended up losing it. So this one is a little special to me.

There are pics as good as I could get in the French Hats and Makers thread. The liner doesn't photograph easily, as the Motsch logo is very subtle.
